Majid Al Futtaim is strong in leisure and retail. MAF’s retail  leadership was struggling to connect their strategy to every employee in the organisation on every level. The leadership was looking for a way to share their ambitions with over 25.000 people in 12 countries. MAF retail has asked Ink Strategy to capture this strategic narrative in an engaging story.

Approach

Bringing the vision to life through storytelling and visualisation.

We designed a two-sprint approach that balanced strategic alignment with hands-on activation. Through visual co-creation, we worked closely with the Retail leadership team to design a compelling and relatable story. We facilitated both 1-on-1 interviews and collective workshops to build trust, spark dialogue, and create ownership. Along the way, we used visual thinking, persona-building, and storytelling exercises to make the vision tangible. Participants across countries engaged deeply with the content, shaping not just the story, but how they would bring it to life.

A clear retail story engaging leadership on every level.

The process resulted in a visually captivating and widely endorsed vision story. Leaders at every level felt connected to a shared direction. A series of visual outputs and a storyline gave the leadership team the language, tools, and confidence to spark conversations across the region. Through persona workshops and train-the-trainer sessions, the story was translated into action. Making the vision real for different roles and teams. The initiative brought pride, clarity, and energy to the transformation journey of MAF Retail.
